FAMILIAR TONES: Our Newhouse Hardware Wired Doorbell Chime uses the classic two-note “Ding Dong” sound for the front door button and has an additional connection with a separate”Ding” for the rear or side door.
COMPATIBILITY: Our hard-wired door chime can be used with a 24V transformer (not included) ONLY (it will not work with any other voltage transformer). Search “40TR” for a compatible transformer. Using a 24V transformer with a standard 16V doorbell chime is not recommended, because the doorbell and/or chime can wear out.
STANDARD DIMENSIONS: Our chime’s cover is 9” L x 5″ W; 6.75” L x 4.75” W x 1.75” H with overall depth of 1.75”. It comes in a timeless white finish that blends with any decor.
FOR RING DOORBELLS: Our electrical door bell for homes may be suitable for your smart or video doorbell. Please check with the manufacturer first so you can be sure about the compatibility.
