- Surface Activator is used to prepare the surface of various metals for plating such as Copper, Brass, Silver, Nickel, and Gold. Certain projects require an activation step for proper adhesion. Requires electroplating equipment. This solution will not work on Chrome, Aluminum, Tin, Steel or Stainless Steel surfaces.
- Intended to be used after the Electro Cleaner step prior to gold plating, nickel plating, rhodium plating.
- Requires electroplating equipment.
