- LANACare’s soothingly soft, reusable nursing pads, in organic merino wool, were specially designed by a Danish nurse. The pads are made of interwoven wool fibers, making them light-weight and absorptive. Many find them more comfortable than disposables or cotton – wool absorbs the milk, keeping skin dry, and breathes, to maintain comfortable temperature in warmth or cold. - Most women need only 2-3 pairs for entire nursing period. Wool’s self-cleansing properties prolong need for washing. Wool’s natural oil, lanolin is activated as the wool absorbs moisture. Wash, on average every couple weeks with lanolin-replenishing woolwash to maintain wool’s unique properties.
